My Story begins with a childhood dream to be a happily married, present stay at home mom one day.
After leaving home at 18, dropping out of college after earning a full-ride scholarship, and eventually meeting the love of my life and getting married, I knew I wanted to live my childhood dream... to be a stay-at-home mom.
But in order to do that, I needed to be able to create an income from home. Welcome to my story.

After working in the construction industry in my early 20s, I found out I was pregnant with my first son. My boss wasn't happy about it.
I had 8 months to plan my escape from the 9-5 grind - a time when working from home wasn't the norm. I scoured every resource I could find and figured out a way to quit my job and work from home.
I did it. But I didn't know it yet... I had created myself a job.
When my son became a noisy toddler, I had to let go of my at-home job. That led me to selling on eBay. And that taught me the importance of branding my store and creating an experience for my customers.
Then I started designing eBay stores for others.
It was an incredible feeling to make money from my own creativity.
But I was still trading time for money. I knew there had to be another way.
In late 2017, we were hit by a hurricane and lost internet for 21 days.
In between web design clients, I prayed to God for a solution.
A few months later, that prayer was answered through an opportunity that changed my life.
I partnered with a software as a service company and went all in. I built that business to multiple six figures.
I thought I had finally figured it out.
Then one day we got the dreaded news.
The owner was selling the company New owners took over and within a year, they terminated the affiliate program.
Everything came crashing down.
I had built my identity, my income, my everything around a company I didn't own - and I had nothing to show for it.
I'd seen it happen to others.
Now I experienced it myself.
I prayed, "Lord, what am I supposed to do next?"
I knew I had to create something of my own.
Something I could create leverage with.
Something that used my strengths, gifts, and talents.
Something that could help other people just like me build a business they loved that also allowed them to have a life.
That's when the light bulb went off.
What if I deconstructed my design services and combined everything I learned about leverage, digital products, recurring income, service, and helping people into a business model that could help others ... whether I was there or not?
Brand Swatch Studio was created to help solo entrepreneurs get their business out there into the world without all the confusion or time-wasting that so many ot us go through when it comes to setting up our websites, and our branding without going into a rabbit hole of pinterest paralysis, design drama or tech chaos...
I know what it's like to stare at a blank screen and wonder where to begin.
I know what it's like to spend hours doing it all yourself.
That's why l've turned everything I've learned into practical tools, templates, and resources that make building your brand and website simpler, faster, and a whole lot more tun
And I'm here every step of the way to help you bring it to life.
That way you will always have something of yours, that you are proud to share with the world.
These verses remind me why I do what I do and help me stay focused on
the purpose behind my work-especially on the days it's not easy.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
This verse reminds me that my gifts weren’t given to me to hide them. I’m called to show up, keep creating, and put what God has given me into the world.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…”
I believe our gifts aren’t just for us. We’re meant to use them in service to other people—and business can be one of the ways we do that.
“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.”
The Parable of the Talents reminds me that what we’ve been entrusted with is meant to be put to work. I don’t want fear, comparison, or uncertainty to make me bury what God gave me.
